Longtime Payson resident Glenn F. Hale, 71, died Aug. 24, 2010, after a long battle with chronic leukemia. He was born, along with his twin sister Gwenn, on Jan. 27, 1939 in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Seymour “Bill” Hale and Velda Buckley Hale.
Mr. Hale graduated from Payette High School in Payette, Idaho in 1957. He spent seven seasons as a smokejumper, fighting fires for the U.S.
