Glenn Earl Tyler, 86, died June 11, 2020 after an extended illness. He was born at his parent’s home in Pocatello, Idaho, on Friday, October 13, 1933 to Dorus Harvey Tyler and Lenora Sarah Christina Davidson Tyler. He was ninth out of ten children and had five brothers and four sisters.
He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1951 and in 1952, he joined the Navy and served until the end of the Korean War. His last assignment was on the aircraft carrier, the Ticonderoga.
Just after his discharge in 1955, he met Loa Darlene Myers on a blind date. He tripped on a step and literally fell at her feet. They became engaged in December 1956 and were married in the Idaho Falls temple on July 19, 1957. Glenn and Loa had six children.
Glenn was a jack of all trades and was always helping, fixing, or building items for friends and family.
