Glenn A. “Mick” Jenkins, age 66, of Grafton, Wilson Ridge Community, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at the residence of his niece, Regina Spring, following an extended illness. He was born in Taylor County, April 18, 1944, a son of the late Amos Jackson Jenkins and Bessie Diora (Colbank) Jenkins. Mick was a farmer and enjoyed raising cattle and working on the farm. He loved all children. Surviving are: one daughter, Melissa Lynn Henderson, of Grafton; one granddaughter, Lynnessa Mae Henderson, of Grafton; one brother, James Robert Jenkins and his wife Minnie, of Grafton; his niece, Regina Spring; and several other nieces and nephews; also two special caretakers, Thomas Waters and Wayne Bolyard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: his companion of many years, Roberta Bailey; two brothers, Hobert Jenkins, and Walter Jenkins; two sisters, Dortha Stealey, and Artie Martin.
