Chugiak resident, Glen Robert Graham, 69, passed away October 1, 2021 at Providence Alaska Medical Center due to COVID-19.
Glen was born June 7, 1952 in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Benson Polytechnic High School in Oregon and also attended Portland Community College. Glen cherished his service to his country with his time in the US Navy aboard several aircraft carriers as a jet sonar operator. After his honorable military service, Glen worked for the GSA in Portland and later starting in 1993 in Alaska, retiring June 7, 2019. Glen married his wife, Barbara on May 15, 2021 in Eagle River.
Over the years, Glen taught hunter’s education to kids. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his dogs.
His family wrote: “Glen loved talking to friends and strangers alike, talking about his time in the Navy. He was kind and very generous to all he knew. He will be missed by his family and friends.”
Glen is survived by his wife, Barbara L. Graham; sister, Linda Johnson; brother, Terry Graham; nieces, Anna Ruben, Cara and Mae Graham and nephew, Jason Jones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Bob Graham.
