Glen Paul Doucette was the eldest child born to Betty and Traville Doucette, Jr. on August 30, 1943 in Iberia, Louisiana. He moved to California at the age of three.

Glen attended San Diego High School where he excelled in track and field sports. At seventeen years old he learned the jazz blues organ. Which lead him to perform with many legions including Jimmy Leggins, Loud Fullson, Ike and Tina Turner, Johnny Guitar Watson, Little Willy John, Marvin Gaye, Bobby Blue Band, Gamma D Shades Of Blue, Little Richard, Etta James, Big Daddy Rucket, Lionel Wishom, Barbara Jamison, Ninny Brown, Chris Willis, Tony Shanorth, Carl Evans, Danny Armstrong, Abrey Fay, Pete Tucker, Jessy Wilkins, James Wilkins, Rabbit, Danny Lopez, Earl Vaults, Les Gum, Dom Coleman, Jimmy McGriff, Jimmy Smith, Hank Crawford, George Simper and BB King.

Glen was inducted into the San Diego Hall Of Fame among many other life achievements.

Glen Doucette was called to rest on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1:45PM. He leaves to mourn, three brothers Clarence, James and Dr. Michael Doucette, two sisters Sylvia and Brenda.
