Glen Victor Clugey, of Helmer, died Tuesday June 14, 2016 at Good Samaritan Moscow Village. He was 81. Glen was born in Granger, Washington on June 25, 1934 to Harvey and Vivian Clugey. The family moved to Deary where Glen attended School and graduated from Deary High School. After High School he joined the U.S. Army where he served for two years. Glen married Ruth Wolf, on May 24, 1958 in Moscow. He worked odd and ends jobs before having a career at Potlatch Corporation in Lewiston, where he retired. After retirement he worked as a mechanic on logging vehicles for many years. Glen was a member of the Troy Deary Gun Club and enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, wood carving, drawing, puzzles, fixing cars, gardening, 4-wheeling, camping, and picking Huckleberries and mushrooms. Glen was preceded in death by his Brother Ralph, Sister Pearl, Wife Ruth, Son David and Daughter Pamela Moulton in February. He is survived by a Brother Jack Clugey, Sister Edith Griffen, Son’s Mike Dickson and Dale Clugey, Daughter’s Amber and Alaina Clugey, Grandson’s Glen Moulton, Nick Lawrence, Brock Daugherty, Granddaughter’s Jamie Clugey, Katlynn Moser, Jaedin Robinett, great-grandson’s Samuel Moulton and Emerson Coffia, and great-granddaughter Ava Clugey. Glen was well known in Helmer and Deary and will surely be missed.
