Mrs. Gladys F. Marshall, 90, a resident of Valley went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Lanier Nursing Home in Valley.
Survivors include her son, Roy Lee (Bobbie Ann) Marshall of Pine Mountain, GA; two daughters, Brenda (Dallas) Pearson of Greenville, GA; Carolyn (Stephen) Alford of Valley; six grandchildren, Regina Boatner, Michael Marshall, Ben Pearson, Chris Pearson, Natalie Bledsoe & Anna Wood; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren, a number of precious nieces and nephews, and many “church children”. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Rosie Lee Fields. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy Q. Marshall, one brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Marshall was born in LaGrange, GA and was a member of Johnson Chapel Baptist Church. She loved children and was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord and enjoyed serving others.
Johnson Chapel Baptist Church is located off Interstate 85. Take exit 70 and then proceed east on County Road #388 for about three miles or so. The church will be on the left.
