Gladys M. Rall Steis, 84, of Linn St., Williamsport, died Monday, March 21, 2011, at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born April 4, 1926, in Montoursville, she was a daughter of Franklin and Jennie Fry Clees.
She was a graduate of Montoursville High School. She was a member of St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church. Gladys was an avid bowler at ABC Lanes and a member of the Falconettes at the Polish Club. She loved to crochet.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Rall, in 1970; her second husband, Richard Steis, in 1999; a son, Thomas Rall; and four siblings, Elwood, Lawrence, Alfred and Adeline.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan D. Tice (Ed) of Williamsport; and three sons, Terry Rall of DuBoistown, and David and Steven Rall of Williamsport; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Fred Clees (Joyce) of Montoursville.
