Gladys Louise Cowham 79 of Boise went home to meet our heavenly father on Sunday May 11, 2014. She passed away peacefully with family at her bedside. She was born on December 23, 1934 in Caldwell, Texas to Gus and Mary Engelmann. It was while she was a teenager that she was introduced on a blind date to a man that was soon to become the love of her life Herbert Cowham. After three dates they soon were married on June 15, 1952. Upon her marriage to Herb she became a member of the Does Elks Lodge 310 in 1952. They then went on to establish a home and a family with 5 children. She was an amazing and very loving wife, the best Mother, and an even better Grand Mother.
