Mrs. Waters passed away on Wednesday October 15, 2014 at her home in Baldwin County, AL of lung failure. She is survived by her husband Laverne Morris “Bubba” Waters, Sr.; daughter Rebecca Josette (Ivy) Waters Knight of Baldwin Co.; sons Laverne Morris “Skipper” (Tracie) Waters, Jr. of Baldwin Co.; and Anthony Todd “Tony” (Tanya) Waters of Mobile Co. Mrs. Waters is also survived by grandchildren Jake G. Waters, Tori R. Waters, and Josephine Knight; as well as one brother Gene (Janet) Laired of Texas and sister Marcia “Buttons” Howard of North Carolina. She is survived by uncles, aunts, and many nephews, nieces and several cousins.
Mrs. Waters is preceded in deathe by both parents Glever and Josephine Howard; brothers James H. Howard, Sr.; Norman O. Howard, Sr., and Charles E. Howard.
Mrs. Waters was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a 1964 Vigor High School Graduate.
