Gladys Lo Rayne (Nelson) Bentlin, 87, of Warrenville, SC, formerly of Peru, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at home.
Mrs. Bentlin was born November 6, 1929 in Denver, CO to Walter and Delia Nelson. She married Robert “Bob” Bentlin on November 16, 1958 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tonica.
Mrs. Bentlin was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tonica where she was the organist for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Bob; one daughter, Joyce (David) Lester of Warrenville, SC; two grandchildren, Marcy (Brian) Murphy of Castle Rock, CO and Nathan Lester of Warrenville, SC; two great-grandchildren, Christian Murphy and Rylee Lester; one brother, Russell Nelson of Minooka and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Donna Bentlin and three brothers, Carl, Floyd and Robert Nelson.
