Gladys was an avid supporter of her beloved husband of 57 years Joseph. She worked tirelessly in his election campaigns for his 36 years as City Auditor of Parma, Ohio. Along with that she handled all of the details of running their tax business. She was a super Mom to all of her three children, Joseph M. Lime, Phoenix, Arizona, Gail Hawkins, Cocoa, Florida and Mark Lime and his wife Debbie, Parma, Ohio.
She was a past president of the Democratic Womens’ Club and local Parma Democratic Club.
