Gladys L. File, 80, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 12, 1934 in Iredell County to the late George and Alberta Mayberry Little.
Gladys was educated in the Iredell County Schools. After high school, she married Jimmie C. J. File of Salisbury on December 23, 1952.
In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her son, Jimmie C. J. File Jr.; brothers, Daniel and John Little; and sister, Ethel Little Myers.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jimmie C. J. File Sr., of the home; daughters, Tamara File Riggs of Salisbury and Sandy File Robinson of Blythewood, SC; grandchildren, Charles Clinton Riggs of Salisbury, Christina Danielle Riggs of Salisbury, and Austin Robinson of Blythewood, SC; great-grandchildren, Caleb Ray Daniels, Alyssa Danielle Keith, and Jovi Nicole Riggs, all of Salisbury; brothers, Thomas Little of Salisbury, George Little of Faith, and Glenn Little of China Grove; and sisters Hattie Alberta Little and Dorothy Little Short, both of Kannapolis.
