Gladys Eleanor Slater Estep, 86, of New Haven, entered into peaceful rest June 12, 2007 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel David Estep. Born in New Britain Oct. 15, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John & Amanda Peterson Slater. She moved to New Haven as a child and lived here all her life. She worked at National Folding Box Co. for many years, and, in later years, for Yale University Health Plan until retirement.
