Gladys Elma Bellinger, 80 of Chugiak, Alaska. passed away at her home on May 2, 2019.
She was born to Margaret D. and William A. Hawkins on May 30, 1938 in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. She grew up on the family farm on Ormbsee Rd in Corry, Pennsylvania where she raised all her children, Gladys has a daughter Joyce, son-in-law, Albert and their family living in Alaska. Gladys married Edwin O. Kitelinger early in 1956 and was blessed with six sons and a daughter, Edwin and Norman and families of Indiana, Howard and Ralph and families of Pennsylvania, Richard and family of Kentucky, Anthony and family of Iowa, Rebecca and family of Florida. In June, 1976, Gladys married William H. Bellinger was blessed with three step daughters and four stepsons, Mary and family of New York, Ed and family of Pennsylvania, Susan, William and their families of Florida.
She has many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins across the US. Over the years she lived in Pennsylvania, Florida and spent the final six years in Alaska residing with Joyce and Albert. She was a homemaker, worked hard, loved life and her children and family beyond measure We will have a small family gathering to celebrate her life Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, husband Edwin, second husband William, step daughter, Carolyn and step son, David as well as four brothers, Harley, Harold, Arthur, William; a sister,Thelma; one granddaughter, Amanda and one grandson, Ryan.
