Gladys E. (Coleman) Hanrahan, 89, of Milford, died Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Beaumont Nursing Center in Northbridge surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Hanrahan was born in Nashua, NH, a daughter of the late Robert F. and Mary Delena (Bouley) Coleman. She grew up in Nashua, was a graduate of the Nashua High School Class of 1944, and lived in Framingham before coming to Milford in 1968. Gladys was a loving homemaker who devoted her life to raising her five children and fostering 21 babies from the Home for Little Wanderers. In later years she babysat many children who referred to her as Grammy. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and a great sports fan for all the New England teams.
