Gladys Alford Morris of Greensboro, GA passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Gaines Park Senior Living in Kennesaw, GA. She was 91. She was born on June 13, 1928 in Bartow, GA to the late Charlie Watson Alford and Alice Elizabeth Smith Alford. She graduated from high school in Jefferson County. Gladys married Ruel Irving Morris, Jr. on December 14, 1952, and they made their home in Greensboro. She was a devoted wife and mother, raising two children, Cindy and Irving.
She is survived by a daughter Cindy Morris Hogan and her husband Ron of Marietta, GA; a son, Ruel Irving Morris III and his wife Libba of Dunwoody, GA; five grandchildren, Blake Hogan and his wife Laurie, Jessica Daniels and her husband Brady, Ben Morris, Katherine Morris and Gracie Morris; five great grandchildren; Olivia Hogan and Henry, Kellan, Caleb and Julianna Daniels; two sisters, Anola Wildes and her twin sister, Grace Burch; and a number of other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Ruel Morris, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lewis Alford, Jessie Alford, Lynwood Alford, Essie Clark, Mary Clark, and Christine Norman.
