TOBLERGirod John Tobler, Jr. died peacefully on Friday October 8th after an extended illness. Girod was the eldest son of the late Minerva B. Tobler and Girod John Tobler, Sr. He is the father of Girod “GJ” Tobler, III and beloved brother and brother-in-law of Joan and Stephen Gremillion, Patrick and Angela Tobler, and John and Donna Tobler. He is survived by four loving nieces and nephews. Girod served honorably in Vietnam and Thailand, before returning home to proudly serve in the Louisiana Army National Guard. He was an active duty reservist during Desert Storm and Desert Shield.
