Ginny Ann Vail Goodwin, 69, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 12, 2011 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute.
Born April 10, 1942 in East Chicago, Indiana she was the daughter of Leo C. and Alice P. Eads Vail. On March 8, 1963 in Paris, Illinois she was married to Dallas W. Goodwin, and he survives.
She was a member of the VFW Post 972, Terre Haute, Riley American Legion, and she retired from CBS in Terre Haute. she was active in rabbit and poultry clubs and enjoyed fishing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Jeffrey W. Goodwin and wife Dana, Terre Haute; Gregory B. Goodwin and wife Frances, Dayton, Ohio; L. Shawn Harmeson and husband Todd, Pendleton, Indiana; eleven grandchildren, Ashley Poff, Alyssa Goodwin, Alaina Goodwin, Brent Goodwin, Sarah Goodwin, Lee Ann Goodwin, Piper Goodwin, Shepherd Goodwin, Jordan Harmeson, Jacob Harmeson, and Justin Harmeson, and two great grandchildren, Tommos Poff and Rylee Goodwin; five brothers, Larry Vail, Bradford, MA; Tom Vail, Pima, AZ; Butch Vail, Shelbyville, IL; Ted Vail, Ramsey, IL; and Merlyn Vail, Oconee, IL; four sisters, Mary Culver, Columbus, OH; Jane Lee, Casey, IL; Sue Magnus, Findlay, IL; and Joyce Galla, Decatur, IL; and one brother-in-law, Lewis Coleman, Findlay, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Judy Coleman.
