Gil Underwood, 58 of Platteville, Colorado passed away on January 27, 2013. He was born June 3, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to Albert and Marilyn Underwood.
He married Carolyn Schovan on August 27, 1977 and their beautiful daughter Jennifer was born July 14, 1980.
Gil worked at IBM for several years before taking employment with Manko Window Systems. He loved camping, fishing and motorcycles. He also loved animals, especially his horses, NASCAR and country music.
He is survived by his father Albert of Platteville; Daughter Jennifer (Matthew) Hoyt of Thornton; Brother Gary (Kathi Linnebur) Underwood of Thornton; Grand Children, Gabriel, Kennedy and Braydon; Nieces, Jamie (Arturo) Alvarado of Thornton, Kayla (James)Leistman of Helendale, CA and Kayce Linnebur-Underwood of Thornton as well as numerous other nephews and nieces and great nieces.
Gil was preceded in death by his mother in July of 1984.
