Mr. Giles Howard Duck, 94, a resident of Huguley, AL passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Lanier Nursing Home in Valley, AL.
Mr. Duck is survived by two sons, Giles Alan Duck (Betty) & Kenneth E. Duck (Nora Jane); four grandchildren, Keith Alan Duck (Mandy), Kevin Duck (April), Ashley Duck, & Merinda L. Thrower (Matthew); eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Smith Duck, and a son, Gerald W. Duck.
Mr. Duck was born in Tallapoosa County, AL on June 3, 1923. He was a WWII veteran having served in the U. S. Army. After his military service, he retired from the West Point Stevens Fairfax Finishing Mill after 38 years. He loved to work in his garden. Mr. Duck was a member of the Huguley United Methodist Church.
