Gilbert Leroy Walker, 84, of Franklinville, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at his residence.
Gilbert was a native of Randolph County and a resident of Franklinville. He was a skilled woodworker, cabinet maker, and was the owner and operator of Walker Furniture Accessories. Gilbert was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Beane, his parents, John and Anner Coley Walker, sister, Audrey Nance, and his brothers, Roland Walker, Junior Walker, Phillip Walker, and Clatie Walker.
Survivors: wife, Lois J. Walker, of the home, son, Rodney L. Walker, and wife, Kim, of Franklinville, brothers, Ervin Walker, of Climax, Darrell Walker, and wife, Sharon, of Franklinville, grandchildren, Quinn Walker, and wife, Andrea, of Franklinville, Michelle Beane, and companion, Alan Stone, of Asheboro, Edward Beane, and companion, Kelli Southards, of Ramseur, Daniel Beane, of Asheboro, great-grandchildren, Izzy and Callie Walker, Madison and Kayla Stone, and Amelia and Alanna Beane.
