Gilbert Louis Giannasi, a lifelong resident of Highwood, Illinois, passed away on November 8, 2022. Born on March 17, 1947 in Highland Park, Illinois to the union of Louis and Oliva (Lamberti) Giannasi. Gil graduated from St. James School and Highland Park High School. He is survived by his brother Robert, his sister-in-law, Mary, and nephews Rob and Andrew, as well as many cousins and friends whom he cherished. Gil, affectionately known as “Gio,” loved everything about Highwood and all Chicago sports teams. May he rest in peace.
