Giedre “Gay” Andris, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on April 29, 2021, due to a long battle with cancer. She was born in Lithuania and immigrated to the United States with her parents in the 40’s. She married her longtime love, Louis Andris Jr, in 1959. She celebrated her sixty-first wedding anniversary with her husband in December. She was beautiful inside and out, loved cooking French cuisine, traveling, and gardening.
Gay is survived by her beloved husband Louis Andris Jr; sons and their wives, Louis and Kim Andris III, Stephen and Millie Andris; daughter and her husband, Laura and Dr. Jan Ziegler; grandchildren, Elena, Nicholas, Louis IV, McKenna, Halle and Rachel. All of whom she loved and cherished deeply.
The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice care, and her two aides, Joanie and Maria.
