Mrs. Gertrude Valenti, 90, of Valley, Al., passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Lanett, Al.
Mrs. Valenti is survived by her three nieces, Elizabeth Rodriguez of North Carolina, Cecilia Lashley of Valley, Al., and Denise Pledger of Chickamauga, Ga.; two nephews, Thomas Guantt of Lanett, Al. and Donald Guantt of Henderson, Nv; several other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Valenti was born on February 7, 1924 in Georgetown, Ga. She was of the Baptist faith and was a former employee of George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital.
