Gertrude E. Trudy (Rocknowski) Leszcynski, 80, of Peru, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru. Mrs. Leszcynski was born July 14, 1930 in Peru to Lawrence and Elizabeth (Harzheim) Rocknowski. She married Stanley Leszcynski on May 8, 1948 in Peru. He passed away June 6, 2006. She worked as a file clerk at M&M New Agency in LaSalle for many years.
She was a member of St. Marys Church, Peru. She is survived by her 2 sons, Laurence Leszcynski of Peru and Daniel (Kathleen) Leszcynski of Lafayette, CO and 3 grandchildren, Steven, Sarah (Stephen) Black and Jason. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stanley and a sister Delores Manijak.
