Gertrude M. Ruff (nee Reiber) 86, of Silver Ridge Park West, a section of Berkeley Township, died on May 12, 2013, at Holiday Care Center, Toms River. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and lived in Colonia, NJ, and Keeseville, NY before moving to Silver Ridge Park West 28 years ago.
She was a parishioner at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and a member of the VFW. She was also a member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation. She is predeceased by her husband John S. Ruff, Sr.
Surviving are her children John S. Jr., and his wife Kathleen of Keeseville, NY, Steven and his wife Joy of Belvidere, NJ, Barbara Fedeyko and her husband John of Toms River, and Denise Gussler and her husband Jon of Middleburg, FL; one sister Barbara Vonah, her six grandchildren Wendy, Jay, Melanie, Jeremy, Johnny, and Michael and nine great-grandchildren.
