Gertrude Cornutt Lawson, went home to be with our Lord on Friday December 21, 2012 peacefully in her sleep at her residence. Born September 21, 1914, she was the wife of Earl Lawson and the mother of John (Francesca Lawson, Philadelphia, PA, and Jan (Garry) Locke, Ringgold GA. She loved her five grandsons: Brian Lawson, Rossville, GA Josh (Leah) Locke, Decatur, GA, Jared Lock, Ringgold, GA, Patrick and Kevin Lawson, both of Philadelphia, PN. She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers: Jack, Raymond, Roy and Cecil Cornutt and a sister: Reecie Donohoo Cash, Cleveland, TN.
