Gertrude J. Young, 98, of Severn, passed away on January 25, 2022. She was born in Baltimore, one of ten, to the late John and Mary Blanchfield of Severna Park. She retired as a librarian from Anne Arundel County and was a dedicated member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
Gertrude is survived by her devoted children, Timothy J. Young, Thomas E. Young Jr. and his wife, Elaine, Judith A. McKusky and her husband, Joseph, Susan G. Vetere and her husband, Robert, Stephen A. Young and Gregory B. Young and his wife, Linda; nine cherished grandchildren; 17 loving great-grandchildren; and one beloved great-great-grandson.
