Gertrude E. Cunningham (nee McPoyle), 93, entered into eternal life December 19 in the care & loving presence of her family & friends at Masonic Village at Burlington. Born & raised in Philadelphia, Mrs. Cunningham moved to Edgewater Park, NJ which would be her home for 51 years. She was a parishoner of Jesus, the Good Shepherd R.C. Church in Beverly since 1961.
Mrs. Cunningham enjoyed & took great pride in her career as a bookkeeper, which she started at age 17 until her retirement from PNC in 1990. Mrs. Cunningham was an avid reader, European history buff, enjoyed spirited conversations & was a devoted fan of the Notre Dame & Navy football teams.
Mrs. Cunningham is survived by her daughters: Elaine Forker, Michele Johnson, Eileen Cunningham, her much-loved granddaughters Chelsea & Erica, sister Jacqueline Parker, many cousins, nieces & nephews.
