Obituary of Gertrude E. Wuckert
WUCKERT, Gertrude of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre. She was 99 years old. Gertrude Janetsky was born on September 14, 1913 near Weimar, Germany, to the late Albert and Valerie Janetsky. She was the 8th of 11 children. She married the love of her life, Adolph Wuckert, on June 29, 1935, living their entire married life in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on February 5, 1977. Their marriage was blessed with three loving children: Henry, Ernst and Janet. Gertrude was a long-time member of St. John Lutheran Church on Federal and Second. She later attended Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a son and a daughter: Ernst Wuckert of Saginaw and Janet Dibble of Bad Axe; a daughter-in-law, Judy Wuckert of Pinckney; four grandchildren: David Dibble, Elizabeth Dibble, Kristen (Graham) Fett and Mark (Kris) Wuckert; three great grandchildren: Anthony and Michael Fett and Seth Wuckert; and a sister, Virginia Hoewe of Freeland. Also surviving are many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Henry Wuckert; a son-in-law, Thomas Dibble; and nine siblings.
