Mrs. Gertrude Phillips, formerly of Panama City, Florida, and Morrow, Georgia peacefully went home to be with our Lord on Monday evening, September 2, 2019. Mr. Phillips, along with her husband, were active members of Morrow Presbyterian Church for many years. She also held offices with the Atlanta Presbytery. She had lived 96 years. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband Joe and is survived by her son, Sam (and wife Mary) Phillips of Newnan, and her daughters, Carolyn Finlayson and Nancy Estes of Panama City, Florida, and Deborah Stasiw of Havana, Florida. Mrs. Phillips is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
