WILKINSDURHAM Mrs. Gerri Wilkins, 79, of Durham, died on Wednesday, November 16, . Wilkins was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Milton and Eunice Gentry Smith. She attended Oak Grove School. Gerri was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and the Primetimers. She was a member of the Bethesda Ruritan Club Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie H. Wilkins, step-son, David H. Wilkins and a sister, Shelby is survived by her son, Rodney Tingen and wife, Marilyn of Mebane; two daughters, Linda T. Skipper and husband, Dan of Youngsville and Betsy Jones and husband, Mike of Mooresville; one sister, Joyce Culverwell of Marshallberg, NC; grandchildren, Shawn Skipper (Tabathia), Chris Tingen (Crystal), Josh Skipper (Lindsay), Shay S. White (Jake), Dylan Jones, Delaney Jones and great-grandchildren, Emily and Brady Tingen.
