Geraldine “Gerry” (Eller) VanZandt, 82, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia. She was born March 18, 1936 in Centralia, daughter of Walter and Evelyn (Tinsley) Eller. She married Larry D. VanZandt on June 18, 1954, in Centralia.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Larry of Centralia, son Kevin VanZandt and wife Tina of Centralia, granddaughters: Kari Nierman and husband Allen of Highland and Carly VanZandt and significant other Dallas Thompson of Breese, great grandsons: Levi, Jase and Tanner Nierman of Highland, brother Robert Eller and wife Jackie of Roselle, brother-in-law Cliff Christian of Centralia, and many nieces and nephews.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, son Kirby VanZandt, brother Chet Eller and sister-in-law Judy Christian. Gerry was a member of First United Methodist Church in Centralia; a member of Laureate Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She and husband Larry enjoyed camping with their many friends in the Raccoon Ramblers.
She also loved playing cards, games, reading and especially spending time with her beloved family.
