Geraldine M. Lowry passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the age of 88. Born in Philadelphia, PA she lived and spent most of her life in Roxborough and Manayunk. She was a graduate of Little Flower High School and was an active alumni. She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church.
She volunteered her time to work on many of the social activities of the church including work that went into making display floats. Geraldines’ chosen profession was a legal secretary working for Baldi Law Firm in Philadelphia. She was predeceased by husband Martin J. Lowry Jr., her son Martin J. Lowry III, her daughter Mara Lighter(nee Lowry). She is survived by her sister Alva Hart of Cape May Courthouse, NJ, a daughter-in-law Carole Lowry of Westville, NJ, a niece Gretchen Jones and a nephews Kurt Faber and Fredrick Hart, 5 grandchildren; Samatha, Bridget, Victoria, Jason, and Mara, and also 7 great grandchildren.
