Geraldine Kinley began her life’s journey on December 27, 1947 in Dillion, South    Carolina to the late John Willie Bethea and Lessie Eula Mae Bethea.  She was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 24, 2017.

Geraldine Kinley was known to many as   Gerry, Mrs. G and Lessie Mae.  She was a   devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother that loved unconditionally. Always helping, giving and showing love every where her presence was.

Geraldine was the president of her Building Tenant Association for many years.  She did food drives, gave toys out for the kids in her building at Christmas time, fought to keep the building clean and crime down. She was well known in her community and also an active member in her church.

Geraldine was a foster mother.  She shared her home with unfortunate kids that needed a home and love. Her heart was big and she never turned anyone away if they needed help.

Geraldine loved being on the move, traveling, partying and entertaining family and friends at home. Geraldine also could throw down in the kitchen. Her cooking skills were magnificent.

Geraldine also had a special bond with her grandson Michael K. Kinley. She loved him unconditionally and with so much joy. Her relationship with him was so profound a bond that it can never be forgotten.  She will always be his Guardian Angel.

Geraldine leaves to treasure her memory: daughters: Gloria McClellan, Janet Elam and Kim Kinley; step daughters: Deloris Gore and Judy Watson; sons: Robert McClellan, Jermaine McClellan, Ken Kinley and Christopher McClellan; grandsons: Jahlil and Jamel McClellan and Michael K. Kinley; sons-in-law: Raymond Gore, Larry Elam and Tinelle Herron; daughters-in-law: June   McClellan and Danella McClellan; sisters: Earline Adams and Linda Brown; brother: Thomas Bethea; brothers-in-law: Carl Adams and Edward Brown;   sisters-in-law: Lil Green and Willie Mae Sims; best friends: Hattie Dixion, Pat Mccan, Mary Floyd (cousin), Mrs. Cunningham and Gina Parham and a host of special nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members and friends.
