Geraldine I. Mercer, 85, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at her home in Alamogordo. She was born on February 24, 1922 in Vallejo, CA to Charles and Irene (Butts) Joyce.
Geraldine lived most of her life in Vallejo were she was born until moving to Alamogordo 5 years ago to live with her daughter, Euleen. Her family was her greatest pleasure.
Survivors include her husband, E.V. Mercer, daughters, Euleen Vest of Alamogordo, Jackie Willett, Lomita, CA, Vicki McKenny of Ojai, CA; son, Craig Mercer and wife Stephanie of Camarillo, CA, Keith Mercer and wife Pam of Lancaster, CA; thirteen grandchildren including her granddaughter living in the Alamogordo area Karen Kunihiro and husband Derrick (Kuni) and their family and seventeen great grandchildren.
