Geraldine Gerry Hancey Heddrick, 73, passed away November 29, 2018 of natural causes at her home in Carrollton, Texas.
Gerry was born April 19, 1945 in Deming, New Mexico, the daughter of her late parents, Harold Maurice Dixon and Dorthella “Dot” Boyack Hancey, and adopted father, Denzil L. Hancey. She graduated from Bountiful High School and later attended college in Washington and at the University of Utah. She was a Tupperware manager: she sold Tupperware, recruited and trained new Tupperware consultants for many years. She married Jack Williams and had a daughter, Wendy Jane Williams (Corey) Ogden of Everett, Washington. Gerry and Jack later divorced. Wendy and Cory have four children; Andrew, Naomi, Jocelyn, and Dallin; who Gerry never had the privilege and joy of knowing. She married Robert “Bob” Vircel Hedderick, Jr. They were sealed in The Church of Latter Day Saints Temple in Atlanta, Georgia and were married for 34 years. They had their daughter, Gerrilee Danielle Hedderick Hodges (Cory), and Gerry became the grandmother of Blake, Gambit and Kinsley; all of whom Gerry adored.
Gerry was kind and loving. She took in those who needed her help, whether animal or human. She did not look at people for their status in life or their appearance. Over the years, she provided a home environment and watch care for many who were in need of her loving assistance.
Gerry leaves many loving memories to be cherished by her loving sisters; Kittie Holfeltz (Glade) of Joseph, Oregon and Sarah Bair (Rodney) of Eden, Utah, as well as her brother, Thomas Hancey of Eden, Utah; along with many nieces, nephews, step-brothers, step-sisters, and cherished friends.
