Geraldine “Gerry” Ann Gromelski, age 75, died peacefully early Saturday morning December 15, 2021 at the Vero Health Care Facility in South Hadley.
Gerry was born in Northampton, MA on July 18, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Stella (Demerski) Gromelski and Stanley J. Gromelski Sr. As a young girl, she grew up and lived in Haydenville and also attended elementary school there. Gerry then continued her education in the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at Smith Vocational & Agricultural High School in Northampton. She then entered the work force at local nursing facilities before finally in 1971 being hired at the Hampshire County Long Care Facility.
During her free time, Gerry loved her home and found peace there, listening to the sounds of nature or just relaxing around the fire pit or maintaining her gardens and yard.
Gerry is survived by her beloved life partner of forty years, Marcia A. Fellows of Northampton, and Marcia’s, son Matthew Fellows of Westfield, her brother; Stanley Gromelski Jr. and his wife Jane Gromelski, niece; Blythe Gromelski and many dear friends.
