Mrs. Geraldine Bray Nichols, age 78, of Ellicott City, MD was born on September 13, 1937 in Thornhill, TN. She passed away December 25, 2015 at 8:24pm at her home in Ellicott City, surrounded by her children and many other loved ones. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Myrtle Bray; husband of 41 years, Herbert Hoover Nichols (Hoover); her grandson, Jeffrey Dustin Nichols; her sisters, Gladys Buchanan, Ethel Atkins, Francis Modlin, Katherine Hayes; and brothers, J.D. Bray, Lewis Bray, Charles Hubert Bray, Fred Bray and Marshall Bray. She is survived by her twin sister, Charlene Buttry of Pontiac, Illinois and her brother, Elmer Bray of Dayton, Ohio. She is also survived by her children, Clarence Nichols (Debbie) of Berkeley Springs, WV, Kenneth Nichols of Elkridge, MD, Jerry Nichols (companion, Debbie Yellin) of Catonsville, MD and Brenda Nichols Gregor (Bret) of Ellicott City, MD; grandchildren, Tina Jacobs, Jerry Nichols, Jr., Richard Nichols (Ricky), Sarah Nichols, Bret Gregor, Jr., Jonathon Nichols (Duke), Dean Gregor, James Nichols, Samantha Nichols and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Geraldine will truly be missed.
