Gerald Winton Hutchinson, 95, of Indian Head, MD died August 28, 2015 in La Plata, MD.
Born September 6, 1919, in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Lemuel and the late Flo Hutchinson.
He attended Paw Paw High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed with the U.S. Government. He was a POW, received a Purple Heart and served in World War II.
He enjoyed hunting and walking his dog. He was most proud of his children. He could be described as the most wonderful dad in the world. His favorite Bible verse was Psalm 23.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Marie Hutchinson, whom he married January 1, 1950; siblings, Irving Hutchinson, Edwin Hutchinson
and Lester Hutchinson; and daughter, Joy A. Hitchinson.
He is survived by his daughter, Becky M. Hutchinson; and grandchildren, Brian Allen, Sean Allen and Chris Allen.
