Tom spent the last few years of his life at University Heights Health and Living Community. Tom was well known and loved dearly by all of the staff and his presence there will greatly be missed. The family cannot express enough how thankful they are for the love and care given by the staff.
Tom enjoyed game nights with his grandkids, spending time with friends and family, making jokes, being stubborn, pestering people, Diet Coke, peanut butter, bologna sandwiches, and pickle loaf. He never met a stranger and always found a way to make you laugh. His famous greeting was “Hey! What are you doing?” which would often startle people if they weren’t use to it. Tom could appear gruff on the outside, but had a big heart and had a contagious smile. He was always known for doing something silly that would make you laugh and shake your head. His sense of humor, fun loving spirit, and presence will be greatly missed.
