Gerald Roach, 94, Pendleton, died April 17, 2008 at Rawlins House, in Pendleton after an extended illness. He was born September 14, 1913 in Frankton, Indiana.
Gerald lived in Madison County most of his life and was a retired farmer.
He was a member of Fall Creek Christian Church and the Farm Bureau. He enjoyed seeing people laugh, working with wood, gardening and being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his by his children: Marjorie Norm Hathcoat of Pendleton, Ted Linda Roach of Pendleton and Jack Barbara Roach of Pennsylvania and Sister: Pauline Bill Hecht. Eight grandchildren: Carol Salvino, Ron Hathcoat, Connie Hathcoat, Kent Roach, Mark Roach, Lana Harvey, Tom Roach and Scott Roach. 23 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife whom he married January 14, 1936 Maxine Lemaster Roach and died in 1991. Son; Rex Roach, sister; Violet Fuller, and brothers; John Roach and Charles Roach.
