Survivors include wife; Carolyn (Ostermyer) Caughey, daughters; Wanda (Larry) Hotseller and Brenda Caughey, grandchildren; Elizabeth (Trevor) Johnson, Amanda (Max) Neyron, David (Stacy) Galyean, Dale (Stephanie) Galyean, great grandchildren; Katie and Kara Monko, Katya and Wylliam Neyron, Elizabeth Ava Johnson, Alyeea Backus, Delilah, Mya and Lynna Galyean, Natalie Tien, great great grandchildren; Xander and Mila Oiler. He was preceded in death by parents; Arlie & Mary Helen “Molly” (Wilcher) Caughey, siblings; Mabel D. Caughey, Iva Mae Carter, Marion Cecil, James Earl, Thelma, and Delma Caughey, Arlie Jefferson Caughey, Jr., Margaret, Marvin Vincent, and Leroy Caughey and Virginia Trotter.
He graduated from Franklin Township High School and retired as a Machinist from Western Electric. His hobbies included Deer hunting, fishing, camping and all around outdoorsman.
