Gerald R. Maki, 64, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019. He was born to Vern and Shirley (Lamoureaux) Maki on November 8, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan.
Gerald worked as a inspector for General Motors for 25 to 30 years. He was married to Joanne (Harmon) Maki, she survives. Gerald enjoyed reading and playing chess. His grandchildren were very important to him. Gerald volunteered at his church and was a deacon for Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, Gerald is survived by his two children, Gerald (Amy) Maki of Greenwood and Jennifer Maki of Greenwood; his sister, Sandy (Karl) Maki-Osantowske of St. Claire Shores, Michigan; his two brothers, Steve Maki of Detriot, Michigan and Tim Maki of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; and his three grandchildren, Kai Maki, Julianna Maki, and Eileen Maki.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Shirley (Lamoureaux) Maki and his brother, Mike Maki.
