Gerald “Cowboy” Weaver, Gilmore City, IA died March 22, 2016, at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Weaver was born on February 26, 1947, in Gilmore City to Gerald and Dolores (Dee) Davis. He was raised on a farm in Gilmore City and joined the Air Force at the age of 19, serving for 3 ½ years. He and his brother, Jerry, started Weaver Trucking where he worked until he retired due to health reasons. He enjoyed truck pulling and spending time at the shop with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Jerry; his mother, Dolores; daughters Trisha (Todd) Travis and Tina (Robert) Tague; brother, Jerald D. Weaver; sister, Karen Witham; grandchildren, Cody Walker and Danielle Travis; niece, Michele Lambert; nephew, Robin Lambert; and great-nephew, Parker Lambert. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald.
