Gerald Lee “Jerry” Broyles, age 74, of Gainesville, Virginia passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Inova Fair Oaks Medical Center. He was born on February 14, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Leroy A. and Neva (Pike) Broyles, Jr. Jerry attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School, St. Xavier High School and the University of Louisville. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Rose Mary Broyles; two daughters, Ann M. Heinz and husband Thomas of Chantilly, Virginia and Mary B. Alexander and husband John of Oakton, Virginia; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Heinz, Allison Heinz, Jack Alexander and William Alexander; one brother, Michael Broyles and wife Mary Lee of Louisville, Kentucky.
