Beatrice C. Allred Dixon, 86, Anderson, died November 8, 2008 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born October 22, 1922 in Monroe, Tenn., and resided in Anderson. She has lived in this area for most of her life. She retired from Anderson Mattress Company in 1984 as a seamstress. She was a member of Anderson Baptist Church where she was the church librarian for many years.
She is survived by her husband of almost seventy years, Charlie Dixon. Two daughters, Anna Ed Pugsley of Anderson and Charlene Mike Whitehead of Westfield. Two sisters; Vera Coffey of New Castle and Clara Stover of Anderson. Five grandchildren; Wendy Koger, Tracy Crawford, Stephanie Whitehead, Michael Whitehead, and Matthew Whitehead. Also surviving are ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Pastor Ken King.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Claude and Rose Peek Allred and a son J.C. Dixon
