Gerald J Hovatter, 82 of Newburg, Scotch Hill Community, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by his side.He was born December 2, 1929 in Evansville, son of the late Floyd and Elsie Royce Hovatter. In his early years he worked at Republic Steel in Ohio, Aspen Tree Company, also was a coal miner and a truck driver.
