Gerald “Gene” Perry passed away at the age of 86 on June 6, 2013, at Good Shepard Care Center surrounded by his family.
Gene was born September 30, 1926, to Fanny and Merrill Perry at Bellfountain, Iowa.
Gene married Arlene Blakesmith in Atcheson, Kansas, and they were blessed with sons, Phil, Tom and Michael, and daughters, Krisandra, Karen and Susan.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Fanny and Merrill Perry, loving wife, Arlene; daughter, Susan;
brothers Russell and Linford;
sisters, Frances Allen and Erma Foster; and son-in-law, William Platts.
The family would like to thank all of the caregivers that Gene was blessed to come into contact with at Good Shepard and through Hospice care.
